CorrView
International, LLC offers an excellent opportunity for independent UT
professionals interested in working as our affiliate on ultrasonic testing
projects. We generally work within the very specific niche market related to
commercial high rise office buildings, and offer three separate business
arrangements depending upon your degree of interest and
ability.
Approximately 25 years in the
HVAC and commercial real estate market as both water treatment and UT
professionals has made us keenly aware of the needs and interests of our
clientele. Unlike the petroleum or nuclear industry, industrial and commercial
building owners and operators have more important areas of interest to occupy
their time than the issue of corrosion.
Few have the patience for reading through
a report where the results and final determination are unclear, or possess the
technical expertise to reach their own conclusions from a spreadsheet of little
more that raw wall thickness data - the common format for many UT
"reports."
They do, however,
greatly value a report which is informative, comprehensive, clear, graphically
presented, and above all - useful in answering the questions originally raised
regarding pipe condition. In many cases, commercial property owners and
managers require a report which will provide firm direction in making a major
capitol business decision, and one which can be understood by others within the
full range of the corporate structure.
For
that reason, CVI has placed as much of an emphasis on the presentation of our
wall thickness data, as we have in its testing and gathering. While the range
of ultrasonic testing expertise varies from taking a few basic wall thickness
measurements at a single section of steel pipe, to Level 3 flaw detection of
welds and high pressure nuclear applications, CorrView International, LLC
offers NDT services at somewhat the midpoint level.
Being involved primarily with the
commercial real estate market and HVAC applications, we have focused our use of
UT toward the service life evaluation of condenser water, chill water, heating,
fire sprinkler, and steam services piping. As can be seen by reviewing various
sections of this Internet site on ultrasonic pipe testing, CorrView
International has raised the level of testing and reporting a significant
degree. Review the various
sections of a typical CorrView International test report of a condenser water
piping system. This is an application for UT that you have probably
not been involved with before.
Although we
do travel out of state occasionally, available time, travel expenses, and
mostly a client's need for a more local and convenient information source,
generally limit such field work. We believe, however, that excellent
opportunity exists in establishing working relationships with other independent
UT professionals around the United States in serving the same type of HVAC,
industrial, engineering, and office building clientele.
The exposure of this Internet site for
the promotion of our new corrosion monitoring device, CorrView
®, has also brought many inquiries for ultrasonic pipe
testing, which we see as an excellent opportunity to both expand our business
and develop new business
alliances.
CorrView International, LLC
offers three separate opportunities to work together - each with different
benefit and level of commitment. Further information on each opportunity is
available by choosing the headline of each section below. Please review each
opportunity carefully, as well as the recommended links with regard to
ultrasonic pipe testing, in order that you well understand what opportunities
we are offering, and most importantly - the requirements on your part.

This would involve
performing UT work provided by CVI in your local area, or work requiring out of
state travel if interested. Individuals would perform testing under contract
basis, per job, with all expenses, per diem, and travel paid for at scale or
above. Work would involve following our well established UT testing procedures,
and requires only UT wall thickness gauging.
Work would be 1-3 day
intervals at office building locations. Work is likely infrequent depending
upon demand in your area, and can be adapted around your existing work
schedule. This is temporary work on contract basis and not a position with
CorrView International, LLC. |
|

|
You would work with
CVI in acquiring testing projects in your local area and receive separate
compensation for work developed in addition to your payment for the actual UT
testing. This level of involvement can vary depending upon your interest, and
may include developing clients in nearby major cities, contacting property
managers, mechanical contractors, and consulting engineers, producing mailing
list contacts, etc.
CVI would provide help and assistance in the form
of mailings, technical and promotional literature, a CorrView e-mail address,
along with other support. This is not a permanent position with CorrView
International, LLC, but can grow substantially depending upon your level of
involvement. |

Under this
arrangement, you would continue or establish UT business under your own company
name. You would acquire work projects independently in your own area, but
instead negotiate your own testing related fees, schedules, add-ons, etc., and
bill your customer directly under your own company name.
You would
employ our testing procedure where applied to commercial building properties
and questions of pipe condition, and would submit your data to CVI for
processing into a final report under your own company name. CVI would charge
you a standard report processing fee per location tested - thereby leaving you
in total control of your profits and level of income.
CVI would provide
assistance in the form of technical and promotional literature, a CorrView
e-mail address, a formal listing and link on our Internet site as an approved
UT pipe testing affiliate in your area, along with other support. CVI would not
be involved in your business in any way other than processing your raw data
into a finished report on a contract basis. |
All three
opportunities offer different levels of interest, involvement, skill
requirement, commitment, business skills, and of course, financial reward.
Please click through each opportunity headline above for more detailed
information.
