All 12 individual ultrasonic wall thickness measurements are represented in this 2-D bar chart to show the variability of measurements and the degree of pitting at the interior wall. A scale of values at the left offers an approximate thickness value.

     This chart provides a quick visual explanation of the basic test results, with the more even top horizontal bar line being the desired test result. The more variation in the wall thickness profile, generally the more corrosion and pitting at the interior pipe wall surface. Color coded bars are attached to the actual test site by reference coordinate.
